SLT Collection Debuts Italian Built Canados Yachts Series At 2022 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show

SLT Collection, the official American dealer for Canados Yachts, will debut a collection of premier performance yachts built in Ostia, Italy, at the 2022 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. With SLT’s Canados experts on hand, visitors at the show will have the opportunity to personally experience the Canados 493, Canados 431, Canados 411 – with all three models will be on display for the first time in the Americas.
At first glance, the Canados series’ turns heads as powerful and sleek performance style sport yachts. Digging deeper into the company’s extensive maritime history, Canados has built high quality, blue water capable yachts for over 70 years, building their first yachts commissioned by the Italian Navy, coastguards, and Italian Harbor Masters. More than 750(?) Canados Yachts have been delivered since this time and can be found in prestigious marinas around the globe.
With an eye for customization to meet the needs of clients’ unique cruising ambitions, Canados continues to tailor each yacht built specifically for the client’s cruising goals and desires. This customization is a unique benefit setting the bar within the performance sport yacht sector.
On Display At The 2022 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show
The Gladiator 493
The Gladiator 493 Grand’s design offers a modern classic appeal, luxury, comfortable interiors, and a spacious cockpit perfect for entertaining family and friends at the dock or while underway. She comes with a deep swimming platform which, as an option, can be converted into hydraulic swimming or boarding stairs. The aft deck sun pad is spacious, with an entry to a garage, perfect for storing water toys and provisioning. The helm station is protected by a laminated glass windshield and the fore deck offers a welcoming, large sun pad and chaise lounge – an entertainment zone for sunbathing or sipping cocktails at sunset. The spacious interior is equipped with two cabins and two heads, offering her owner the same level of luxury and attention to detail as all custom build Canados Yachts. The 493 is a phenomenal blue water boat that can be powered with triple or quad outboards 450R or 600s or with inboard diesel.
The Gladiator 431 Walk-Around
The main goal designing the Gladiator 431 Walk-Around was to combine a sexy sporty line with a never-seen-before cockpit and foredeck layout. The deck plan offers more space than most larger yachts on the market. The robust hull sides were designed to ensure the Gladiator offers the driest ride possible. Also, every owner movement within the interior spaces has been thoroughly studied and anticipated to ensure the owners, their family, and their guests can move around the cabins in comfort, even when running at high speeds in harsh weather conditions. The Gladiator 431 Walk-Around can be powered with various engine packages, inboard or outboard. With twin Volvo Penta® Diesel D6 @ 440 hp, she is capable of an all-day cruising speed of 34 knots / 40 mph and will top at 41 knots / 47mph. With the triple outboard Mercury 450R version, she tops at 54 knots / 60 mph.
The Gladiator 411
With a dynamic design, the Gladiator 411 Carbon Series is not only “beautifully aggressive” in her appearance, but she also offers unmatched comfort and efficiency. With a 10’2 beam at the cockpit level, she offers more space than any competitive set, and her recessed stern sun-pad offers the perfect relaxation zone. In terms of performance, the Gladiator 411 Carbon Series offers the only alternative to the big power inboards with the super reliable and efficient Mercury 450R outboard engines. In its triple engine configuration, the 411 Gladiator will top well above 115 mph offering fun and top-level performance for those who enjoy speed on the water.
